Virtual Art Talk: In Conversation with Dan, Arlo, and Michael Namingha

On Wednesday, August 31, we will be talking with the talented Namingha family of artists, Dan Namingha and sons Arlo and Michael. In 1987, Dan Namingha was featured in a single artist exhibition at the Heard and in 2012, the three artists showed together in a Heard exhibition called Namingha Family: Shadows, Form and Light.  Their art is collected and shown internationally. Each artist has developed his own powerful and distinctive approaches to themes of the land, relations to the land and the spirits of the land. We are looking forward to catching up with Dan, Arlo and Michael and hearing them discuss their recent work, which is on view at their family-owned Niman Gallery in Santa Fe.
