What are the hours for the Café and Shops?

Is the Heard Museum closed on certain holidays?

We are closed Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

What are the best parking options?

We offer free parking on the museum grounds with the exception of our big events where parking options are often located off-site. You can find parking maps on specific event pages.

Do we have handicap parking? If so, where is it located?

Yes, our designated handicap parking is located on the east parking lot.

Who are the Heards?

Do we sell online tickets?
Do we have to pay separate admission for Substance of Stars?

No, Substance of Stars is included with museum admission.

Do we provide teacher discounts?

We currently do not offer a teacher discount.

Where and how can I get a Culture Pass?

Culture Passes can be obtained from your local library.

Do we have an AAA discount?

Yes, a valid AAA card allows a $1 discount.

What reciprocal program are we with?

We are with the North American Reciprocal Museums or NARM.

How much is membership?

Where can I get an appraisal?

While we currently do not do appraisals, click here for a list of American Indian art experts in the Phoenix and Tucson areas and we encourage you to search online for your own contacts. This list is provided as a courtesy and is only intended as a starting point for finding out more information on your art. The Heard Museum does not endorse any one appraiser over another

What are the tours?

Daily tours are available and included with museum admission.

Do we have audio tours?

Audio tours are available through the Heard Museum App.

Does the Heard offer tours in other languages?

Yes, we do offer other languages in Spanish and French tours.

How can I get a private tour?

How long is the SkyDome video?

The SkyDome video is about 16 minutes on a continuous loop.

When is the Hoop Dance competition?

Our annual World Championship Hoop Dance competition is held every year in February. For more details visit our event page here.
