The Heard Museum is open Monday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We are closed on Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Upgrade Your Visit with a Private Tour
Want to personalize your Heard experience? Plan a private, docent-guided tour of the museum for your group. Private tours accommodate groups of 10 or more and include tours of the galleries and temporary exhibitions.
In-Person Discounts
AAA members receive $1 off adult or senior admission.
Library cardholders can check out an Act One Culture Pass from their local library for free admission or tickets for two people at the Heard Museum. Ticketed and special events are not eligible for Culture Pass. Note: A gate fee may be charged for special exhibitions.
The North American Reciprocal Museum (NARM) Association® is one of the largest reciprocal membership programs in the world with members in the United States, Bermuda, Canada, El Salvador and Mexico. NARM has nearly 1000 arts, cultural, and historical institutions along with botanical gardens, children’s museums, science and technology centers and more that offer their individual NARM qualified members reciprocal benefits.
Participating museum membership benefits include: Free/member admission during regular museum hours, member discounts at museum shops and discounts on concert/lecture tickets. Some restrictions can apply for special events.

Blue Star Museums is a partnership between the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families, in collaboration with the Department of Defense and museums across America, offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserve. The 2024 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day, May 18, 2024 and ends on Labor Day, September 2, 2024.
*Qualified members must show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card for entrance into a participating Blue Star Museum.
