Reverent Creations with RRR.RAID Designer Joanne Miles-Long

Gather with community as we learn to sew, reuse fabrics, and create reverential spaces.

Joanne Miles-Long (San Carlos Apache and Akimel O’Odham), fashion designer and owner of RRR.Raid (stands for Restored, Recycled, Restyled, Redesigned) Clothing, will lead participants through 7 lessons where they will learn the basics of sewing using sewing machines and hand-stitch techniques. Participants will leave with their very own custom piece of clothing made from new and reused materials. These sessions will offer sewing instruction, creative design, and foster reverent environment rich in socializing and learning. Join us every Friday starting in April! Class is open to ages 55+. Students must be able to attend all class sessions.

Classes take place every Friday (April 19, 26, May 3, 10, 17, & 24)

Applicants will only be notified if selected.
