Indigenous Peoples’ Day:
Growing for the Future

Join us on Monday, Oct. 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as we partner with Cahokia PHX for the second annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day Phx Fest. Let’s come together to celebrate, to learn, and to create an environment where the richness of Indigenous culture can truly shine. Join us as we “Indigenize the Valley” and celebrate the collective spirit of Indigenous Peoples’ Day!

  • Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy outdoor live performances in the Libby Amphitheater, programmed in partnership with Native Guitars Tour.
    • SCHEDULE TBD
  • Meet and learn from local vendors at our unique take on a Farmer’s Market.
  • Savor fan-favorite entrees and snacks from the Heard Museum Café and Coffee Cantina and Emerson’s Frybread food truck.
  • Catch a screening of the film “Gather” in Steele Auditorium at 12 p.m. followed by a talk-back with Twila Cassadore (Apache) and Bleu Adams (Mandan/Hidatsa, Dine’).
  • Enjoy activities for kids, and more!

Keep checking back for more details as vendors and musicians are confirmed.
