Heard Museum will be closed Christmas Day, open New Year’s Day

The Heard Museum will be closed in observance of Christmas Day on Friday, Dec. 25, 2015, reopening at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 26.

It is one of four days each year the museum is closed. The others are Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day and Easter. The museum will be open on New Year’s Day Friday, Jan. 1, 2016, both for regular hours, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and for First Friday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Heard Museum will close at 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, and will close at 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015.
