Exhibit opening: ‘Confluence: Inter-generational Collaborations’

We’ve put seven pairs of American Indian artists, all from the greater Southwest region, together to create art for this exhibit. Each pair consists of one established mentor artist and one emerging artist (age 16 to 20), with each partnership co-creating a collaborative piece or series of pieces, depending on the medium.

The pairs have been working and learning from each other for several weeks culminating with the opening of this exhibit.

Confluence Artist Conversation

2 p.m.; Monte Vista Room

During opening day, hear as several Confluence artists engage in a lively discussion about their collaborations and the results.

Confluence: Inter-generational Collaborations will be on display through April 17, 2016.
