Tohono O’odham Artist Terrol Dew Johnson Discusses Weaving Magic with Fiber

Virtual Art Talk: Watch the recording of our Virtual Art Talk featuring Terrol Dew Johnson (Tohono O’odham) in conversation with moderator Velma Kee Craig (Diné). Johnson discusses his contributions to the exhibition, Arriving Forever into the Present World.

This exhibition, currently on view in the Lovena Ohl Gallery, features works from the Heard Museum’s permanent collection, including textiles, pottery, and basketry, representing living artistic traditions within Southwestern Indigenous cultures. Arriving Forever challenges prevailing conversations about what makes a work of art “contemporary.”
