67th Annual Indian Fair & Market

Experience a world of creativity and culture! Over 600 talented Native artists, carefully selected through a competitive jury process, display their artworks! The Heard Museum Guild proudly invites you to the 67th Annual Indian Fair and Market! A vibrant event that features Native arts and traditions.

It’s not just for art enthusiasts; it’s a lively community celebration where passion, talent, and tradition seamlessly unite as over 100 American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes and Canadian First Nations take center stage. Prepare yourself for a spectacle of art, blending traditional heritage with modern innovation. This is a place for shared experiences and connections that echo the rhythms of cultural heritage.

Best of Show / Juried Competition: The excitement commences Friday, Feb 28th (5p) at our Best of Show awards ceremony, where gifted creators receive recognition that resonates throughout the art world. Over 650 exquisite examples of Native art undergo rigorous evaluation to receive the prestigious Best of Show award. The IF+M is a vibrant cultural interchange where art comes to life with every brushstroke and bead threaded.

The Youth Art Show and Sale (YASS) is a must-see for all visitors to the Heard Indian Fair and Market. Young Native artists in grades 7 through 12 across the U.S. have their work professionally judged and compete for ribbons and over $10,000 in prize money, including Best of Show and Best of Division awards. All artwork entered is displayed and available for sale in the Monte Vista Room of the Heard Museum.

The activities continue beyond the incredible artwork, you can immerse yourself in live performances and kids’ play at the Family Fun Zone. Sample favorite foods from Fry Bread to Kettle Corn and locally inspired dishes at the Heard’s Courtyard Café or grab a quick and tasty bite at the Coffee Cantina.

Join us in celebrating an Arizona tradition spanning generations at the 67th Annual Indian Fair & Market—where every masterpiece tells a story, and every visitor can become part of the narrative.
