Arriving Forever into the Present World features works from the Heard Museum’s permanent collection—including textiles, pottery and basketry—representing living artistic traditions within Southwestern Indigenous cultures. Arriving Forever frustrates prevailing conversations around what makes a work of art “contemporary.”
