These activities are included with regular admission

While kids can always watch storytelling videos on the iPads at the Story Circle, join us for a special morning of live storytelling outside of the Heardlings Family Activity Room.

Stick around afterward for lunch and see if you can complete “Archie’s Café Quest” before you begin your delicious lunch from the Kids Menu.

What are Heardlings?

The Heard Museum has launched Heardlings, a family friendly initiative committed to engaging and educating children and their adult caregivers. Led by a welcoming animal guide – Archie the Jackrabbit, named after the museum’s iconic arches – young museum-goers are invited to experience new locations made just for families, the Heardlings Family Activity Room and the Heardlings Art Cart. In addition, families can enjoy an interactive map to kids’ favorite artworks at the museum; special exhibition guides with art-making activities; signature events for youth audiences; a child-friendly menu at the Courtyard Café; Heardlings merchandise at Books & More; being part of the fluffle (the name for a group of young rabbits) with a family membership; and HeardBeat, a youth and family e-newsletter.
