Saturday, Feb. 8, join us for an informational talk on the upcoming exhibition Adorned with Memory: Jewelry from the Basha Family Collection of American Indian Art accompanied by items from the Heard Museum’s collection. This is the second exhibition in a series celebrating this extraordinary gift from the Basha family. Featuring a diverse selection of necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings by Native artists, Adorned with Memory further recognizes Eddie Basha’s dedication to and appreciation for Native art and artists by exploring the vast histories, relationships, and memories that jewelry carries.
Doors open at 10:45 a.m., and the lecture begins at 11 a.m. Coffee and snacks provided.
