Since the first World Championship Hoop Dance Contest hosted at the Heard Museum in 1991, this competition has become a cornerstone for honoring cultural heritage and continuing traditions, celebrating the profound history of hoop dancing within Indigenous communities. This event continues to be a success because of your support, and each one of you are contributors to the extraordinary energy of the arena.
