Mama and Papa Have the Going Home Shiprock Blues: A Look at T.C. Cannon

T.C. Cannon wasn’t just an Indian artist, He was a poet, a singer and songwriter, a friend, brother, son, and a clever commentator on the world around him. He translated human emotion into the art we admire today. As both artist and man we will learn about “Tommy” in a lively discussion with writer Joan Frederick, author of T.C. Cannon: He Stood in the Sun, and Joyce Cannon Yi, T.C. Cannon’s sister for an intimate look at the artist, his works and life.

This event is FREE and open public.
