Join co-curators of Yua: Henri Matisse and the Inner Arctic Spirit, Chuna McIntyre (Yup’ik) and Sean Mooney, for an in-depth discussion of this once-in-a-lifetime exhibition. McIntyre and Mooney will reflect on this special exhibition, on view only at the Heard Museum, which has reunited dozens of stunning Yup’ik Dance Masks for the first time in over a century, and highlights how they influenced the French master, Henri Matisse.
The lecture is FREE and open to the public. To access the exhibition, a $7 charge applies for general admission.
