Join us for Yosemite in Time, a special opportunity to hear Mark Klett discuss photography of iconic Yosemite National Park. Klett’s talk will include famous Yosemite landscape photos by Edward Weston, Ansel Adams, Eadweard Muybridge, and others. Klett will show re-photographed versions of Yosemite to illustrate the startling changes wrought over time by nature and humankind.
Photographer Mark Klett is a Regents Professor at Arizona State University. Klett has received fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, the Buhl Foundation and the Japan/US Friendship Commission. His photography has been exhibited in the United States and internationally, and his work is held in more than 80 museum collections worldwide. His talk, Yosemite in Time, derives from the 140-page book of the same title co-authored with Rebecca Solnit and Byron G. Wolfe.
