Educators, you are invited to a virtual K-12 Educator Night with the Heard Museum!
Join us for a virtual K-12 Educator Night of professional learning and classroom resources supporting Visual Art instruction, featuring artist and educator Jake Meders (Mechoopda/Maidu).
The evening will also include a presentation from the Heard Museum Engagement and Learning Programs team about downloadable classroom resources. Participating teachers will be the first to access a new downloadable Elements of Art classroom poster featuring artists and artworks from the Heard Museum collection.
This is a FREE Virtual Event presented via Zoom. Registration is required.

About Jake Meders (Mechoopda/Maidu)
Jacob A. Meders, MFA is an Associate Professor in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Science at Arizona State University. Jacob possesses a BFA in painting with a minor in printmaking from Savannah College of Art and Design and an MFA in printmaking from Arizona State University. In 2011, Jacob established WarBird Press, a fine art printmaking studio that he operates as the Master Printmaker in Phoenix, AZ.
