Join us for a day of culture, connection, and community at the Heard Museum!
Experience a day of storytelling, art, and cultural celebration designed for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind communities, along with their families and friends. Enjoy a live Hoop Dance performance, hands-on activities, guided tours, and community discussions – all with ASL interpretation and CART (Communication Access Real-Time translation) provided.
All ages are welcome! Come celebrate Indigenous culture and accessibility with us.

Hoop Dance, Flute, and Storytelling Presentation by 5X World Champion Hoop Dancer Tony Duncan (San Carlos Apache/Mandan-Hidatsa-Arikara)
12:00 – 1:00 pm

Presentation by Heard Museum & ACDHH: Learn about resources and upcoming programs.

Hands-on Clay Activity led by Heard Museum Director of Community Engagement, Marcus Monenerkit (Comanche). Create and connect through art!

HOME: Native People in the Southwest exhibition tour with ASL interpretation.
