To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Month, the Heard Museum is pleased to offer K-12 educators free admission from June 1-30 (valid school I.D. is required).
We welcome teachers to spend the day enjoying the Heard’s galleries, take one of several public tours to gain a deeper perspective into the exhibits, have lunch or a snack at the Courtyard Café or the Coffee Cantina, and browse the selections at the museum’s boutique bookstore Books & More and the award-winning Heard Museum Shop (where you also receive a 10% discount with your school I.D.).
DID YOU KNOW?
The Heard offers school tours throughout the entire year! Coming to the Heard during Teacher Appreciation Month is a great way to learn more if you’re considering planning a field trip for your students. The museum’s educational programming meets Arizona State Standards for American Indian culture and history instruction, and a field trip is a great way for kids of all ages to learn more about the rich artistic expressions of Native peoples.
