Teacher Appreciation Month ends

The Heard Museum thanks K-12 teachers from Arizona schools with a special offer each June 1-30.

During Teacher Appreciation Month, the Heard will give teachers with valid school I.D. a 50% discount off the adult admission price. This offer is good for the teacher and one guest. The Heard offers free tours for schools, so this offer is a great way to learn more about what the Heard has to offer teachers.

The museum’s educational programming meets Arizona State Standards for American Indian culture and history instruction, and is also a great place for kids of all ages to learn more about the rich artistic expressions of Native peoples.

Teachers can spend the day enjoying the Heard’s exhibit galleries, take one of several public tours to gain a deeper perspective into the exhibits, have lunch or a snack at the Courtyard Café or the Coffee Cantina, and browse the selections at the museum’s boutique bookstore Books & More and the award-winning Heard Museum Shop.
