ADVANCING AMERICAN INDIAN ART
Join us on March 18th during Art Detour 30 for our T.C. Cannon Lecture Series: T.C. Cannon – Art N’ Activism. Moderated by mural artist and activist Thomas “Breeze” Marcus (Tohono O’odham) and joined by artists Nina Sanders (Apsáalooke) and Jeanette Rocha (P’urhépecha), they will lead a discussion of T.C. Cannon’s works and how his activism in the 1960’s and 1970’s speaks to the same political and cultural themes inspiring young artists today.
