Artists to demonstrate stickball game, making of bows, arrows

These artists will be demonstrating their skills in events coinciding with the exhibit Beautiful Games: American Indian Sport and Art:

  • Royce Manuel (Akmierl Au-Authm) will use traditional tools to create bows and arrows and will invite you to try your hand at it! (Libby Amphitheater).
  • Arcina Conde (Tohono O’odham) will show how a traditional stickball game is played by women of her community. Our visitors will be welcome to learn to play the game, too! (Freeport McMoRan Plaza).
