Join us for the Second Saturday of the month in November, December, and January for live music and artist demonstrations in the Central Courtyard. Museum attendees and members have the opportunity to meet indigenous artists in an intimate setting, learning about each artists own technique and approach to their art. Best of all, Second Saturdays are free to attend and open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This month as we continue to celebrate our newest exhibition David Hockney’s Yosemite and Masters of California Basketry, this Second Saturday Marketplace will feature basket weavers. Come see the variety of baskets created by these talented and unique basket weavers. Please join Sally Black (Diné), Rose Ann Hamilton (Cahuilla) and many other basket weavers. Stop by and see Shawna S. Sunrise (Diné/Kewa) and create your own holiday wreath or flower arrangement just in time for the Holidays!
Second Saturdays are free to attend, but do not include museum admission.
