Second Saturday- Baskets and Indigenous Foods

Join us for our second year of Second Saturdays. We will be hosting a marketplace on the second Saturday during the months of November, December, January, and April. Museum attendees and members have the opportunity to meet and purchase art from indigenous artists in an intimate setting in our Central Courtyard. We’ll have live performances, and artist demonstrations throughout the day. Best of all, Second Saturdays are free to attend and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This month as we continue to celebrate our newest exhibition David Hockney’s Yosemite and Masters of California Basketry, this Second Saturday Marketplace will feature basket weavers and indigenous ancestral foods. Come taste some delicious treats, and see the variety of baskets created by these talented and unique basket weavers.

Second Saturdays are free to attend, but do not include museum admission.
