Public opening of ‘Super Heroes: Art! Action! Adventure!’

Our family friendly summer exhibit, Super Heroes: Art! Action! Adventure! opens to museum members at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 16 (member reception begins at 11 a.m.).

The exhibit opens to the public at noon, featuring a kids’ superhero costume contest that afternoon!

Become a Heard Museum Member and be the first to see and experience the exhibit!

Public opening event schedule:

DJ Byron Fenix will be spinning music from noon to 3 p.m.! In the Monte Vista Room. Free with museum admission.

  • At 1 p.m. Jay Odjick (Kitigan Zibi Anishinabe), author and illustrator of Kagagi: The Raven, right, speaks in the Monte Vista Room and signs Kagagibooks at the museum’s Books & More store at approximately 2 p.m.  Free with museum admission.
  • At 2 p.m. we’ll stage a kids’ costume contest in the Monte Vista Room, so come to the Heard in your own super hero costume! Free with museum admission.
