Demian DinéYazhi´ is a Portland-based Diné transdisciplinary artist born to the clans Naasht’ézhí Tábąąhá (Zuni Clan Water’s Edge) & Tódích’íí’nii (Bitter Water). Demian’s literary practice is rooted in Radical Indigenous Queer Feminist ideology, landscape representation, memory formation, HIV/AIDS-related art & activism, poetry, and curatorial inquiry. Join us at Changing Hands Bookstore in Downtown Phoenix for a reading from his recently published book of poetry Ancestral Memory.
