Decorate your tree or home this year with handmade, one-of-a-kind Native American ornaments during the annual Ornament Marketplace at the Heard Museum Shop. You will find unique ornaments in a variety of styles and mediums for each person on your holiday list or branch on the tree.

About the 2020 Signature Ornament

Featured artist, Jonah Hill (Hopi/Quechan), has created 40 limited edition signature ornaments for this year’s marketplace that illustrates Comet NEOWISE. Each stamp in the silver are represented as stars. The comet tail is depicted at the top of the ornament that leads down to the comet’s head at the ornament base. Hill states, “Comets are a significant event and with what is going on in the world right now during a pandemic, it helps to remind us that things change, life moves forward in its path, and there are beautiful things to observe around you.”

The signature ornament will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on the first day of Ornament Marketplace, Friday, November 27 for $195 each (Signature ornaments cannot be held for purchase prior to the event.)

Masks and social distancing are required while shopping in-store.

Admission to the Heard Museum Shop is always free (museum admission additional).
