Featuring artwork by her friend Harry Fonseca (Nisenan Maidu/Portuguese/Native Hawaiian) and other contemporary Native artists, the show highlights Abelson’s lifelong commitment to uplifting Indigenous creativity through her New York City gallery, October Art.
