Join our screening of family favorite, “Moana,” dubbed in the Native Hawaiian language with English subtitles, for our last outdoor movie night of the year. We’re showing this version of the movie in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi to celebrate the Heard Museum’s current exhibition—Heʽe Nalu: The Art and Legacy of Hawaiian Surfing. You might recognize some familiar voices in the film, including Auliʽi Cravalho reprising her role as Moana, and Kalani Peʽa, who performs in concert at the Heard Musuem on February 8th!
Arrive starting at 6:00 p.m. to set up your viewing space in our Libby Amphitheater so that you won’t miss a special “Spirit Rangers” episode screening at 6:15 p.m. The movie will start promptly at 6:35 p.m. after a few remarks and announcements from the Heard staff. This film lasts for 107 minutes.
The first 300 guests will receive a glow stick necklace. Don’t forget to enter the raffle for a FREE FAMILY MEMBERSHIP at the Heard Museum when you arrive.
The Heard’s Coffee Cantina will be open for snacks and drinks.
Seating is on the lawn, so bring a blanket or a chair and dress warmly to watch a movie with friends, family and neighbors under the Phoenix sky!
