K-12 Educator Night: Resource Fair

Educators, you are invited to the Heard Museum for an exciting night of professional learning on Jan 25 from 2:00 to 5:30 p.m.

Join us for Educator Night: Resource Fair for a FREE night of networking, learning, and experiencing the educational resources the Heard Museum has to offer. Educators will learn about all the free resources that the Heard Museum provides for teachers and get a close look at how to use resources in the classroom. Teachers will explore the Heard on the Go boxes, Ancestral Pueblo and Away from Home digital curriculum, and the exhibition-aligned digital resources.

The Office of Indian Education from the Arizona Department of Education will present and provide free resources for teachers to incorporate Indigenous history in their classroom.

Guests will enjoy refreshments, an exclusive guided tour through HOME: Native People in the Southwest, and time to explore the many exhibitions at the museum.

2:45 p.m. | Tour of HOME: Native People in the Southwest

3:30 p.m. | Presentation from Heard Museum Engagement & Learning Team

4:00 p.m. | Hands-on exploration of Heard Museum resources

5:00 p.m. | Presentation from the Office of Indian Education

5:30 p.m. | Complete survey, collect resources, receive Professional Development Certificate
