The change of seasons brings opportunity for reflection and planning! Join us for an evening exploring wellness from the lens of indigenous practitioners.
We will begin the night with a special blessing offered by our community of “Azteca Danzantes”. La Danza Azteca is a living, evolving, cultural tradition filled with the artistic, spiritual, and military traditions of the Precolombian Aztecs, their neighbors, AND their post-conquest Mestizo descendants. It is a form of prayer, both for the individual and the community.
Following the dance blessing, we will feature nourishment in the form of food and movement. Denella Belin from Nella’s Innovative Kreations will demonstrate how to incorporate more indigenous foods into our daily routine using quick and nutritious recipes. Samples and handouts provided while supplies last.
After some snacks, the phenomenal ladies from Generations 4 Change will take us through a short yoga session that is family and elder friendly. Be sure to bring your yoga mat from home! Extra mats will be available, if needed, while supplies last.
See you in the next year!
