Film screening: ‘Indian Relay’ tells of an unheralded area of American Indian life: horse racing

Indian Relay (2013, 56 minutes) documents an unheralded aspect of modern-day American Indian life and what it takes to win one of the more exciting forms of horse racing. Showtimes are 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

From the bitter cold of winter to the heat of summer, the film follows teams from three different tribes as they compete across a grueling season.

(A previously announced screening date of Jan. 31 was incorrect. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.)

A film by Charles Dye and MontanaPBS
