Join Heard Museum Guild members for their September meeting and kickoff an exciting year of fun and service to the
Heard Museum!
Ann Marshall, Director of Research at the Heard Museum, will discuss the making of Twilight: Trading Posts and Creative Legacies, opening to the public on October 25 in the Grand Gallery and Freeman Gallery. The exhibition will draw on works from the Museum’s permanent collection and will include video interviews with sisters Lynda Teller Pete and Barbara Teller Ornelas (Diné), and with Jed Foutz of Shiprock Santa Fe gallery.
This meeting is open to all, whether you’re a Guild member or simply curious.
Fair Committees: A Fair Chair meeting will be held in the Monte Vista Room from 1 – 3 p.m. following the Guild meeting.
About Our Guest Speaker
Ann Marshall, Ph.D., is the Director of Research at the Heard Museum, where she has dedicated more than 45 years of her curatorial career. During this time, she has worked on many of the Museum’s major exhibitions and has written or edited several museum publications, many of which are available in Books and More including the comprehensive 96-page Heard Museum History & Collections (2025).
