Free Summer Sunday in August

Escape the heat of summer and join us again for this annual series to enjoy free performances, activities, and free admission to the museum every 4th Sunday of the month through August.

This summer’s medium is printmaking. Each month we will have a different printmaker in the Crossroads Gallery with a hands-on print activity using color as the main theme. See our exhibition, Color Riot! for inspiration then make your very own colorful artwork!

All day – Printmaking with artist Sam Gomez from Sagrado Galleria and music from DJ “This-Just-In.”
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Carving demonstration by James Johnson (Tlingit) and bead painting demonstration by Marlena Robbins (Diné)
12 and 2 p.m. – Performances by the Yellow House Dancers
