First Fridays at the Heard: ‘Locavore Bash’

Celebrate May Day with some of Phoenix’s best food during the “Locavore Bash.” Enjoy a farmer’s market featuring local vendors, tastings and food booths, and music in the Central Courtyard. Our special guest is mixologist extraordinare Brandon Casey of The Gladly. Come watch him craft his spectacular spirits creations! And enjoy a delicious evening meal from our new summer menu at our legendary Courtyard Cafe, which will remain open until 9 p.m.! Evening admission free to the museum’s galleries and to the events and vendors on this page unless otherwise noted.

Several local vendors have signed up to offer their wares at the farmer’s market in the Central Courtyard, including:

SCHEDULE (subject to change): Here’s when and where the evening’s events will occur:

• 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Bbieu (pronounced “byoo”), an “eclectic musical project,” performs in the Kitchell Gallery just inside the museum main entrance
• 7:15 to 7:45 p.m. Chef Sacha Levine of FnB in the Pritzlaff Courtyard outside, just west of the museum main entrance
• 7:45 to 8:15 p.m. Revizor will perform in front of the Courtyard Café near the fountain
• 8 to 8:30 p.m. Bbieu (pronounced “byoo”), an “eclectic musical project,” performs in the Kitchell Gallery just inside the museum main entrance
• 8:15 to 8:45 p.m. The Gladly Cocktail Demonstration in the Pritzlaff Courtyard outside, just west of the museum main entrance ($10 per person)
• 8:45 to 9:15 p.m. Revizor will perform in front of the Courtyard Café near the fountain
• 9:15 to 9:45 p.m. Chef Sacha Levine of FnB in the Pritzlaff Courtyard outside, just west of the museum main entrance
