First Fridays at the Heard: ‘New at NU’

It’s a bright, brand new year, and we’re continuing the celebration into New Year’s Night. Enjoy DJ Seduce in the Steele Auditorium, great food from our award-winning Courtyard Cafe and beverages from our Coffee Cantina, and take in our 12 exhibit galleries — including our two popular Frida Kahlo exhibits — with free admission the entire evening. Plus, painter Mike Zillioux (Gila River) will be demonstrating and selling his work in Books & More.

No First Friday Trolleys on Jan. 1; will resume Feb. 5

IMPORTANT: First Friday trolleys will not run on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, but will resume dropping off and picking up passengers at the Heard Museum and several other stops on the next First Friday on Friday, Feb. 5.

Valley Metro Rail will continue to run as usual on Jan. 1, with the Encanto Boulevard/Central Avenue stop directly in front of the Heard Museum. Please visit the Valley Metro website for route information and stop times.
