Join us February 3, 2017 for DJ Fenix who will share soulful melodies as he spins from 6-9:30 p.m. in the Dennis H. Lyon Family Crossroads Gallery. The Cafe and Cantina will be open for dining, snacks and adult and family-friendly beverages. The Heard Museum Shop and Books & More will be open until 8 p.m. (a great opportunity to get some Valentine’s day shopping done early).
In addition, we will be celebrating the opening of Steven Yazzie’s (Navajo/Laguna/European) exhibition, Black, White, Blue, Yellow (BWBY). There will be a special activity at 7:30 and again at 9:30 p.m. from the Museum of Walking (MoW). The MoW was co-founded by Angela Ellsworth and Steven Yazzie as an educational resource center committed to the advancement of walking as an art practice.
While this event is open to the public from 6 – 10 p.m., there will be a member’s only private walk-through of BWBY at 6:30 p.m. Click here to RSVP or call 602.251.0261. There will be public walk-through with Steven at 8:30 p.m.
