Bring your imaginations to our LEGO brick-building contest, where both kids and adults can compete for special prizes, awarded by a panel of judges. The inspiration for the timed competitions: all things Indigenous and the desert, created from those legendary toy bricks. Go off-the-grid with eco-LEGO brick creations, futuristic Indigenous homes and more constructions rising from the desert floor.
Youth competition (ages 7 to 15), 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Adult competition (age 16 and up), noon to 2 p.m.

Kids will have 60 minutes to make their creations using only the blocks available here at the Heard Museum. Session maximum is 20 participants.
Adults will have 90 minutes to make their creations using both blocks they bring and blocks available to them. They will not be able to use any pre-assembled parts. All brick needs to not be attached before starting to build. Session maximum is 15 participants.
Judges will provide the kids with participation gifts. A “Best BUILD-ing” award will be presented.
Judges will provide three awards “Most Creative” “Highly Constructive Award” and a “Best BUILD-ing ”
