Commemorate Día del Niño at the Heard Museum with special performances and workshops with local artists. We are pleased to offer free admission to the Museum for children 12 and under and up to two accompanying adults. The day’s activities include performances by World Champion Hoop Dancer Tony Duncan and family; music, dance and storytelling presentations; and artist workshops. This year’s headline event features an indoor ice dance performance by Naomi Lang (enrolled, Karuk Tribe of California), the first Native American woman to participate in the Winter Olympic Games (2002). Following the performance inside the museum, there will be an opportunity for photos and autographs with this groundbreaking athlete and performer.
Children in attendance will receive a free art print! First come, first served. While supplies last.
