Call for American Indian Veteran Artists Showcase

The Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona announces a national call for American Indian Veteran artists to participate in a Veterans Day juried showcase and sale, in conjunction with the Arizona Department of Veteran Services and Tri-West Healthcare Alliance. The showcase will provide an opportunity for artists to participate in a nationally promoted sales event and Veterans Day tribute.

The event will be held in the Central Courtyard of the Heard Museum in downtown Phoenix, on November 11, 2022, 10:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Applications must be submitted online no later than 11:59 P.M. on Sunday, October 30, 2022. Late applications will not be considered. Please submit all materials via email.

• Brief Artist Statement/bio (no more than 1 page)
• Resume, (no more than 1 page)
• 3-5 images of works completed within the past two years. Save images as JPEG files, 300dpi in – size, longest dimension less than 2000 pixels. Save images with your first initial, last name (Example:JDoe01.jpg)

Deadline: October 30, 2022.

If accepted, you will be notified on October 31, 2022. You will load in starting at 8 a.m. on November 11 and will be provided a 6×6 space, 6 foot table, and 2 chairs

By entering the competition, artists grant Heard Museum rights to use the selected image(s) on printed materials and the museums website and social media for promotional purposes only.
