The Heard Museum is pleased to announce that the annual Mercado de las Artes Hispanic arts market has been re-branded as a one-day event titled ¡Artes Vivas! The Market will take place Saturday, November 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
¡Artes Vivas! will continue to be a festive, casual market event showcasing the works of 40 noted Hispanic and Latino/a artists, with the addition of public performances and activities designed to engage and reflect our community pride and diversity. In addition to the arts marketplace, admission to the plaza events and all performances is free to the public, making it a family-friendly event for all.
¡Artes Vivas! showcases a diversity of Hispanic and Latino/a artists from the greater Southwest as well as Mexico making high-quality, handmade, traditional and contemporary art highlighting the vibrancy of Latino/a culture.
