Mercado de las Artes Application Form

Hispanic and Latino/a artists from the greater southwest as well as Mexico making high-quality, handmade, traditional and contemporary art highlighting the vibrancy of Latino/a culture are encouraged to submit their artwork to be considered.

Include a minimum of 3 and no more than 5 images of artwork representative of what you would sell at the Mercado. Files must be no larger than 2mb and .jpg format. Photos must be in-focus, well-lit and with neutral backgrounds (1 file per link).


Include up to 3 links to news articles on projects you are involved with that speak to your involvement in the arts.

You may attach a resume or CV as supplemental documentation (optional).

I understand that submitting this application does not guarantee acceptance into the Mercado de las Artes festival.

By submitting the following application, I agree to participate in the 2016 El Mercado de las Artes if selected. In addition, I understand commitment includes agreeing to an 80/20 split with the museum on all sales in lieu of a booth fee. Details will be included in the acceptance packet.*

Invitations to accepted artists for the 2016 Mercado de las Artes will be mailed and/or emailed by August 29. Please do not contact the museum prior to that date for acceptance information. Direct any other questions concerning the festival to education@heard.org. Thank you!
